The Winnipeg Goldeyes 10-game road trip came to an end Wednesday in Kansas City with a 6-5 loss to the T-Bones. Brett Wallace drilled a two-run homer to give the Goldeyes a 5-2 lead but Winnipeg gave up one run in the bottom of the sixth, two more in the seventh and Kansas City plated the winning run thanks to a Ryan Fox sacrifice fly in the eighth inning. The Goldeyes will play their final series before the All-Star break tonight when they open a four-game set with the Joliet JackHammers at Canwest Park.
