Winkler's 100th birthday is creating a lot of excitement in the surrounding area.

Harvest Festival Co-Chair Milt Olfert says preparations for the festival are underway.

The midway will be returning with brand new rides, and the fireworks are creating quite a stir.

The centennial parade has also attracted many new entries and will probably be one of the biggest parades Winkler has ever seen.

Olfert adds they are also excited to have Loverboy come in Friday and Chris Rice on Sunday.

The Festival takes place August 10 - 13th.
