A quick second glance can save your life.
That from Altona/Rhineland Emergency Services after members responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 201, 1 mile east of Highway 30, Wednesday afternoon.
The department reports there were only minor injuries, but the situation had the potential to be much worse.
Motorists are urged to always look twice when crossing an intersection to confirm there is no traffic coming, especially at a highway. The department cautioned, a vehicle can easily be hidden behind a windshield post and looking twice will allow that vehicle to come into view.
