It's taken months to grow, but will take minutes to harvest.
Children's Camps International is getting ready for a world record attempt at harvesting 160 acres of winter wheat in less than 15 minutes.
The event will take place just south of Winkler.
Organizer Ray Wieler says they have been busy getting farmers on board.
75-80 farmers have been confirmed and they hope to have 100 in total.
Wieler notes they need a firm number because that will dictate how the field is swathed.
The ultimate goal is to raise awareness for Children's Camps International's work in 6 different countries.
Wieler says their main focus is India where they hope to have 40 000 children attend week long camps by the end of the year.
