R.M. of Morris Reeve Scott Siemens joined CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Host Chris Sumner Thursday morning for the latest Reeve on the Radio.

"It's been a great winter, as far as the weather, but with that we've had the freeze and thaw, and our culverts are getting plugged," he explained for the show. "We've had our steaming crews out a couple times already, and they are ready to go again once it warms up, inside our towns and villages. As for more R.M. wide, we've identified our major roads that are mostly travelled in Spring, and we are trying to get out ahead of it and spot fill with limestone, here and there, where we can."

Siemens noted, even with the proactive approach, they are still asking for residents to be patient as they work through the various areas needing attention. He also encourages ratepayers to contact the R.M. office with any concerns regarding plugged culverts or rural road condition.

Beyond that, budget deliberations are nearing completion and the Reeve shared details on the Rosenort lift station project. Listen to the full conversation below.
