Thursday night we hosted our CFAM Radio 950 65th Anniversary Harvest Celebration Dinner presented by DMM Energy at the Days Inn Conference Centre in Winkler. Our friends DMM Energy partnered with us for the night, which was all about recognizing the hard working farm families of Southern Manitoba with a night out on us.

Our dinner qualifiers had the opportunity to win a share of thousands of dollars in prizes, including the grand prize a 1,000 gallon double walled fuel storage tank from DMM Energy. The big winner was Ernie and Esther Janzen, who farm in the Altona area. Cheryl and Darrell Harder won $2,000 in bulk fuel and Andy and Linda Driedger were our final blue sapphire diamond pendant winners from Appelt’s Diamonds as we brought to a close our 65th anniversary celebration.

Have a listen to Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner chat with Ernie after he heard his named called for the fuel tank.

A big thank you to all who were there last night, including George K Catering who prepared a wonderful meal and Carman Floristas who created gorgeous centre pieces. Also, a special shout out to past Made in Manitoba guest Barbara Joy, and her cellist Melanie Peters, for providing the dinner music for the evening.
