For the first time since 2019, Morden Collegiate invited students into the gymnasium for a pep rally. On the agenda was celebrating the JV and varsity boys and girls basketball teams, the boys hockey team, and the girls and mixed curling teams.
JV girls basketball team coach Cassie Gerbrandt talked about the purpose of the celebration.
"It's awesome! It brings the energy and the excitement. They get to see the faces of the different teams in one place."
The students attending got to celebrate their school teams and walked away with a few treats as well.
