Members of Manitou Town Council have taken office, following their re-organization meeting.

 

Councillor Jake Goertzen is the new mayor, while newly elected Councillor Glenn Shiskoskie will be in charge of roads and streets.


Goertzen says there were some minor changes to council committees...


He notes council will miss the retiring mayor Walter Mueller.


Goertzen says Mueller was a major figure in the community, serving on council for over 40 years.
