We are right in the thick of things with the system that is dropping several centimeters of snow today.

Dale Marciski is with Environment Canada.

Marciski says you can expect about 10 -15 cm of snow.

This includes a risk of freezing rain, the risk increasing the further East you go.

Marciski says conditions will improve overnight.

However, he says there is a good chance of local blowing snow tonight.

Marciski says we will see little precipitation tomorrow but the temperature will drop to minus 16 with a windchill around minus 29.
