The Winnipeg Goldeyes gave up three runs in the top of the first inning and lost 7-3 Thursday to the Joliet JackHammers. Brett Wallace, Wes Long and Aharon Eggleston had three hits each for the Goldeyes who stranded 10 baserunners. Winnipeg wrapped up it's eight-game season opening homestand with a 5-3 record. The Goldeyes will begin a seven-game road trip tonight (1570 CKMW 7:05 p.m.) against the Rockford RiverHawks.
